Currently NFA (BabarMahal, Kathmandu) is collaborating with Metal Nepal (Siddarth Nagar, Bhairahawa) to enhance the marketing of Energy Scavenger Gassifier Stove. It is to be noted that almost 80% of engery consumption for household purposes in the country is fuel wood, which is coming out from the forest. Hence we are promoting the use of alternative energy sources to substitute fuel wood in the kitchen of rural households. So that deforestation and forest degradation can be reduced substantially in the terai .
